Eating Healthy Is An Important Key To Weight Loss
Ok so you knew that already, odds are you don't follow what you know is best
for your health. We get sidetracked by the great taste of foods that we love
but we know are bad for us. What I have done is still treat myself to these
foods I just do it in moderation. I am sure this is the same think that they
had Anna Nichole Smith do. As she doesn't look like someone that could give
up all her sweets at once.
You have to watch what you eat, I now eat 4-6 servings of vegetables and
fruits. I limit my fatty foods and avoid late night snacks. My habit was
eating ice cream before going to bed. Not a good idea but I learned that
lesson too late.
Drinking plenty of water during the day is now a must. I usually carry a
water bottle with me most of the day especially when its hot. The more water
you drink the more it flushes out your system.
Try to get plenty of sleep. Some people only need a few hours but only your
body can tell you how much you really need. I find that I only need 7 hours
a night. You can tell how much sleep you need by doing this little test. Go
to bed at the same time every night for a few days. When you wake up write
down how many hours you slept. Average it out and that will tell you how
many hours you need.
You should exercise daily but not to the same parts of your body. Your body
should take a day to heal itself. So one day work your legs and the next
your abs or whatever schedule you will like to keep. Maybe just taking up an
aerobics class or join in a pick up game of basketball. Like I said anything
that you would like to do as long as you are doing something and not sitting
on the couch.
My problem is I sit and watch Nascar every Sunday. I have learned to get up
and stretch during Pit stops and commercials. The important thing is to keep
your body moving. It is easy to become lazy and fall into a sedentary
lifestyle.
You want to limit the use of alcohol. Some experts say to have a glass of
wine a day but I don't think that does anything. Those experts probably own
a wine vineyard somewhere. All you will get is liver damage or brain damage.
There are many things that alcohol can damage to your body so avoid it, it's
not worth it in the long run.
